Hi friends! I was able to sneak off and play in my craft room today! Woohoo! So I am back with another card for the Coffee Lovers blog hop.
I used the Merry Little Coffee digital stamp from Polka Dot Orchard. You can purchase the set HERE.
And here is my card!
I printed the coffee image out onto Copic friendly cardstock and went to town coloring it with following colors:
E29, 27, 25, 23
N5, 3, 1, 0
YR27, 23
V28, 25, 22
BG96, 93, 90.
Once I finished the coloring, I fussy cut it out. The patterned paper comes from the Bo Bunny paper pad Altitude. It has been in my stash for a long while so I don't believe it is available anymore.
I glued the gray patterned paper onto my top fold card base. I glued the cream words paper onto a piece of Wisteria Wonder (retired Stampin Up!) cardstock. I added foam tape to the back before adhering it to the gray patterned paper. I used liquid glue to add the coffee cup to the words paper.
The sentiment comes from the same digital stamp set and I printed it on white cardstock. I cut it down and added a slightly larger layer of the Wisteria Wonder cardstock. I used liquid glue to add it on top of the cup handle. For the final touches I added Wink of Stella to the coffee portion of the image and Frosted Lace Stickles to the flower centers. I also put a few drops on the gray paper but it seemed to get lost in the background.
As a reminder, you can find the details and link up for the Coffee Lovers blog hop HERE.
I am also linking this up to Kathy Racoosin's 30 day coloring Challenge! You can find details and link up HERE.

Now on to my card!
It's hard to see in the picture but the word paper has like holographic foil! So cool! The sentiment comes from a Jaded Blossoms stamp set called Wicked Strong Coffee. I embossed it with silver and the mat underneath is glitter cardstock.
I also added Glossy Accents to the bobba in the cup!
I hope to back tomorrow with another card for the hop. I appreciate you stopping by!

Same but different - Best Pumpkin
Hi friends! I have gotten together with fellow Polka Dot Orchard design team member Judy Markowitz to bring you something new! We are doing a 'same but different' blog post! We both start out using the same Polka Dot Orchard stamp set and color scheme. Then we see what we each come up with. I hope you find it a bit fun and exciting. I having been wanting to do this for a long time and am glad Judy agreed to give it a go!
We are using The Best Pumpkin stamp set.
And I picked a past color palette from the Color Throwdown. I love their color themes!

Now let's take a peek at the card I came up with!
I love the vintage feel to my card! Not to mention, who says pumpkins always have to be orange? I printed the stamp out onto Copic friendly cardstock. This one is Cryogen White cardstock. I love it because it itsn't a super bright white and it has a bit of a metallic shimmer to it.
Here are the Copic colors I used:
Pumpkins: E79, 77, 74, 71
Stem & Leaves: YG99, 95, 93, 91
Flower center: R29, 24, 22
Flower: Y19, 15, 11
I do list my markers in the order in which I color. My preference is to color from dark to light. Just thought I'd mention it!
After I colored the image in with my Copics, I used my Scan n Cut to cut the image out with a little bit of a border. Now to get my card put togeter.
My card base is an ivory A2, side fold card. I added to different patterned papers from Authentique's Gracious paper pad. I'm not normally a vintage type gal but I really love Authentique's collections. They are cut to 4" wide and together are 5 1/4" tall. I had a pice of dark yellow organdy ribbon and a wrapped it around the pattern pieces right where they meet. I added foam tape to the back of the pumpkins and adhered them right on top of the ribbon. I made sure to keep the top of the pumpkins right below the ribbon.
The sentiment also comes from The Best Pumpkin set. I printed it on the same cardstock I used for the pumpkins so the colors would be the same. I didn't want the sentiment to be in one big block so I cut it apart. Then I turned the Hello sideways so it would fit at the top of the card. I snipped the bottom end off at an angle. I then put the 'pumpkin' portion of the sentiment below the pumpkins.
For the finishing touch I added brown and matte gold sequins in assorted sizes. That's it! I really appreciate you stopping by and I hope you will head over to Judy's blog HERE to see what she came up with!
Have a fab day!

A Grateful Heart
Welcome back to my blog crafty friends! I am such a happy gal with all of the fall colors appearing all around me. This IS my absolute favorite time of the year. Which of course means I love to make fall themed cards. Let's take a look at my latest project for the Polka Dot Orchard design team!
It features the A Grateful Heart digital stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard.
I was going for a no line look using Zig Clean Color real brush markers. Here is a picture of my color palette for today.
I lightened the stamp image before printing it out onto Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I got right to coloring. I generally lay down a little bit of the marker and draw the color out with a waterbrush. I have better control over the water that way. Sometimes I'll use a lighter color marker to draw out the color depending on how strong I want it to be.
Coffee cups: Brick Beige and Persian Green
Pumpkins: Deep Brown, Brown and Beige
Pumpkin Stems: May Green and Olive Green
Leaves: Marine Green and Olive Green
Berries: Persian Green
I just took my time until I had the image colored in completely. Once it was dry, I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut out the colored image. Now on to card making!
My card base is a natural ivory color. Next I added an orange plaid paper from Echo Park's My Favorite Fall paper pad. The brown layer is cut from Authentique's Gracious paper pad. I spritzed it lightly with water before putting it into the fall embossing folder. I hoped to keep it from cracking through the paper. It did help but I still had white showing through. To remedy that I took a sanding block and lightly sanded the raised areas. Then I sponged a brown ink over it. I love the texture and dimension that it added to the card!
I felt like I needed to tie in the Persian Green from the colored image with the card. I dug through my cardstock stash and found a pretty good match. I cut a 1/4" strip and adhered it all the way across the card. For the colored image I added a bunch of foam tape to the back before putting it in place. Onwards to the sentiment.
I played around with several different sentiments but decided on one from The Best Pumpkin stamp set also by Polka Dot Orchard. I didn't have a space large enough for it to be in one spot so I just fussy cut out all of the words. I was delighted to find out that the 'and' fit perfectly in the center of the colored image! Bonus!! I ran the words through my Xyron sticker maker. Before I placed them on the card, I spattered the entire card front with copper paint.
For the final touch I add Midas Touch Nuvo Shimmer marker to the pumpkins. I wish it showed up better in the picture but it's gorgeous in real life!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today!
