Tropical Bliss hop

Well hello again friends!  Today I'm participating in the Tropical Bliss Instagram hop for Scrappy Tails Crafts latest release.  To get all of the details and to hop along, head to my IG ---> HERE

I created a fun mini slimline card using the new Flamingo Pairs dies, Slimline Tiki cover die, Tropical Bliss paper pad and the Tropical Birds stamps and dies.  Whew!  Oh, and my bonus card uses the Tiki Hut Surf Shop add on dies.

For the flamingo I did a bunch of ink smooshing onto White Distress Heavystock with Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress inks.

For the white panel I cut it out with the Slimline Tiki cover die.  Then I ink blend some grass with Mowed Lawn Distress ink and the clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress inks.  The "hello" die is from the gift with purchase die set.  The sentiment is from the Tropical Birds stamp set and cut out with the matching dies.  I used foam tape to pop it up.

The patterned paper is only 6" and I needed it to be 6 1/2".  I cut it in half, cut a piece of pink cardstock and stenciled on it with the Zig Zag stencil and Picked Raspberry ink.  I just glued it in the center of the patterned paper to fill the gamp in the back ground.

I add a few clear Nuvo drops and called it done!

Valentine's day and a bonus card!

 Hello!  Today I'm participating in a new release hop for Scrappy Tails Crafts over on Instagram.  You can find my post and all of the details HERE.  

My card for the hop features the new A7 Intricate Heart Spinner dies, the Sweet Treats stamps set and coordinating dies.

Now, if you came here from the IG hop, I mentioned there would be a bonus card.  Well, there is!  I had ink smooshed on a piece of watercolor paper to cut the heart die from in the card above.  The leftover piece was just too pretty to throw out!
