Fall slimline card

Howdy!  I'm popping in real quick today to share my latest card!  I know that the weather is beginning to get cooler but I'm holding on to fall.  Which meant I have made one more fall inspired card!  The colors are absolutely gorgeous right now where I live.

No tutorial today since the card was pretty simple and straightforward.  I printed one of the leaves and the sentiment from the Beautiful Colors of Autumn digital stamp set by Polka Dot Orchard onto watercolor paper.  I smooshed several Distress Ink colors onto a palette.  I gave them a light spritz of water.   I loaded up a larger paint brush with water and grabbed one of the ink colors from the palette. 

I randomly added the colors where I thought they looked good.  I dried it and did it another time to try and deepen the colors.  I dried it again and added splatters with copper acrylic paint.  Once it was dry I cut it out with a simple slimline layer die.

I added foam tape to the back before adding it to the mustard slimline layer.  Then the whole piece went onto an olive colored card base.  And that's it!

Seize the stamp hop

I created this fun slimline card using the gorgeous Slim Fall Sunflowers stamp set from Stampendous.  I recently added it to my collection and I'm in LOVE!

I stamped it on watercolor paper with VersaMark ink.  Then I heat embossed it with gold and copper embossing powders.

Next I colored the entire image with an assortment of fallish Distress Ink colors.  Once the entire image was painted, I went around the outside of the image with very diluted Gathered Twigs distress ink.

I set it aside to dry.  I cut another piece of watercolor paper slightly larger.  Then I used a gold watercolor to paint around the outer edges.  Then I layered the floral piece on top.  And both panels were adhered to a brown card base.

The sentiment is from an older set from Honey Bee Stamps called Hey Pumpkin.  I also stamped it with VersaMark ink and embossed in gold.  I cut it out and added it to a brown layer, which I fussy cut as well.  I added foam tape to the back and applied it to the card.

SheetLoad of Cards

 Hey friends!  I know it's been a bit since I had a blog post.  Life has been keeping me busy.  I found Crafty Al over on YouTube who does these awesome templates to create "SheetLoads" of cards!  You can find her channel HERE.  I've been meaning to try one of them out but hadn't made the time.  Then she came out with a slimline "SheetLoad" for September.  I knew this was the time to jump on in!

I combined this with my current favorite patterned papers from Stampin Up called Gilded Autumn.  It has such an amazing fall color palette accented with lots of foil!  Let's see what I created.

I'll start with the group shot of all six together and then show the individual cards.
